The IT Innovators Club is formed of senior decision makers within IT who seek to adapt and improve the way they work. The Club provides a platform for like-minded professionals to discuss the latest developments and challenges within role. Usually a quarterly affair, the Club is also an opportunity for casual networking over drinks and a three-course dinner.
At the next Club event we will be looking at “software-defined-everything”; that is to say, the systematic virtualization of computer infrastructure as seen in software-defined networking and software-defined data centres (full definition here). A recent study indicates that 83% of CIOs are planning to make software-defined solutions part of their business in the next two years. But while many IT leaders are considering these changes, the longevity of these implementations is frustratingly unpredictable. Where are you in your journey? What are your expectations and concerns? What are the experiences of your peers?
If you are considering implementing such changes, if you have done so already or if you simply would like to know more then please join us at the Haymarket Hotel, Central London, on the 4th of March where we will making these questions the centre of our discussion. The evening will centre on a round-table discussion on the subject of “software-defined-everything”, where guests are encouraged to share their experiences with the group to spark debate. Club rules dictate that there will be no presentations or pitches and the discussion is confidential. Afterwards guests have the option to continue networking over dinner.
The evening will begin at 6.30pm. Half an hour of networking drinks will be followed by the discussion, after which you will be treated to a luxury three-course meal. There is the opportunity to stay awhile after the dinner for relaxed networking, otherwise the event will finish around 9.30pm.
